HSSC CET Group C Advt 06/2026 Recruitment 2026: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the recruitment advertisement for the CET Phase-II (Group C) vacancies (Advt. No. 06/2026). This dedicated state recruitment drive is organized to fill 1,238 permanent vacancies for the posts of Warder (Male/Female) and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male/Female) within the Haryana Prisons Department.

Selection Process & Marking Scheme

  1. Shortlisting Based on CET Score: Candidates will be screened and shortlisted based on their scores in the Haryana CET Group C Exam (General category requires a minimum of 50% marks; reserved categories require a minimum of 40% marks).
  2. Physical Evaluation (PMT & PST): Shortlisted candidates must pass the height/chest measurements and running benchmarks.
  3. Written Examination: An offline, OMR-based test containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 Marks.
    • Test Duration: 1 Hour and 45 Minutes (105 minutes).
    • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking penalty for marking incorrect options.
    • The 5th Option Rule: Every question has 5 options. If you choose not to answer a question, you must fill the 5th circle. Leaving a question completely blank without selecting any of the 5 options will result in a deduction of 1 mark per unattempted question.
  4. Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination: Final merit ranks undergo clean physical profiling checkups before official deployment allocations.
