Eligibility Criteria & Vacancy Details
1. Educational Qualification
- Diploma: Must possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Language Requirement: Candidates must have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation (10th) level or its equivalent.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 37 Years
- Special Note for Old Applicants: For those who applied under Advt No. 08/2023, the age cutoff date will be considered as January 01, 2023.
- Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per the Punjab Government rules.

Selection Process: Two-Part Examination
The selection will be based strictly on a written competitive examination divided into two distinct parts:
Part A: Punjabi Language Qualifying Test
- Level: Matriculation.
- Nature: Qualifying only.
- Requirement: Candidates must score at least 50% marks to have their Part B evaluated.
Part B: Main Subject & General Paper
- Format: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Ranking: The final merit list will be prepared based only on the marks obtained in Part B.
- Negative Marking:
- +1 mark for every correct answer.
- -0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
