UP ITI Admission 2026-27 – Apply Online | All Trades | State Council for Vocational Training, Uttar Pradesh

The State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Uttar Pradesh has officially launched the UP ITI Admission 2026-27 process for all 1-year and 2-year ITI diploma courses across Government and Private ITIs in Uttar Pradesh. Students who have passed 8th or 10th class and wish to pursue skill-based vocational training in trades like Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Draughtsman, Mechanic, Turner, Wireman, and many more can now apply online.

Online applications opened on July 11, 2026 and the last date to submit the application form is August 4, 2026 (11:59 PM). Minimum age requirement is 14 years — candidates born before July 31, 2012 are eligible. Fee is ₹250 for Gen/OBC and ₹150 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process – UP ITI Admission 2026-27

UP ITI admission is merit-based — no entrance exam is conducted:

  1. Online Application — Candidates fill the application form and choose preferred trade and ITI (Government/Private, district-wise)
  2. Merit List Preparation — Merit is based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam (8th or 10th as applicable):
    • 10th marks-based merit for 10th-qualified trades
    • 8th marks-based merit for 8th-pass trades
    • In case of tie: older candidate gets preference
  3. Seat Allotment / Counselling — Candidates are allotted seats based on merit rank, chosen trade preference, and seat availability in the preferred ITI
  4. Admission Confirmation — Candidates must confirm admission by paying the college fee and submitting original documents at the allotted ITI within the given timeline

Applications must be submitted online at scvtup.in before August 4, 2026 (11:59 PM):

  1. Visit Official Website – Open scvtup.in and click on “UP ITI Admission 2026-27 – Apply Online”
  2. Register – Create a new student account using your mobile number and Aadhaar number
  3. Fill in Personal Details – Name, date of birth (verify born before 31/07/2012), gender, category, Aadhaar number, contact details
  4. Enter Academic Details – Enter your 8th or 10th class marks, school name, board name, passing year
  5. Select Trade & ITI Preferences – Choose your preferred trade and up to several ITI colleges in order of preference (Government ITIs are generally preferred over Private)
  6. Upload Documents – Upload scanned photo, signature, Aadhaar, marksheet, caste/domicile certificate
  7. Pay Application Fee – ₹250/- (Gen/OBC) or ₹150/- (SC/ST) via online payment

Ans. Online application ki last date 4 August 2026 (11:59 PM) hai. Portal already live hai — 11 July 2026 se applications shuru hain.

Q2. UP ITI 2026 mein minimum age kya hai? 

Minimum 14 saal (as on 01/08/2026). Yaani 31 July 2012 se pehle janme candidates eligible hain. Upper age limit generally nahi hoti — full notification se confirm karein.

Q3. UP ITI 2026 ke liye kya 8th pass bhi apply kar sakta hai? 

Ans. Haan! Wireman, Welder, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Sewing Technology jaise 1-year trades ke liye 8th Pass bhi eligible hai. 10th Pass ke liye zyada trades available hain — Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, etc.
