Students who have passed 8th or 10th class and wish to pursue skill-based vocational training in trades like Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Draughtsman, Mechanic, Turner, Wireman, and many more can now apply online.
Online applications opened on July 11, 2026 and the last date to submit the application form is August 4, 2026 (11:59 PM). Minimum age requirement is 14 years — candidates born before July 31, 2012 are eligible. Fee is ₹250 for Gen/OBC and ₹150 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process – UP ITI Admission 2026-27
UP ITI admission is merit-based — no entrance exam is conducted:
- Online Application — Candidates fill the application form and choose preferred trade and ITI (Government/Private, district-wise)
- Merit List Preparation — Merit is based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam (8th or 10th as applicable):
- 10th marks-based merit for 10th-qualified trades
- 8th marks-based merit for 8th-pass trades
- In case of tie: older candidate gets preference
- Seat Allotment / Counselling — Candidates are allotted seats based on merit rank, chosen trade preference, and seat availability in the preferred ITI
- Admission Confirmation — Candidates must confirm admission by paying the college fee and submitting original documents at the allotted ITI within the given timeline
