Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): A uniform nationwide objective screening test evaluated through a specialized split-marks system.
  2. Practical Skill / Trade Test: Administered only for applicable post profiles (e.g., shorthand tests for Stenographers, typing speed checks for LDC/UDC, or physical tests for security lines). This stage is qualifying in nature.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of original transcripts, experience declarations, local identity validations, and community roster certificates.
  4. Medical Examination: Statutory basic health screening before institutional deployment.

Central CBT Written Examination Pattern

The centralized objective test is split into two distinct sub-domains evaluated in a single session of 90 Minutes:
