The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially published the recruitment notification for Agniveervayu (Musician) Intake 01/2027. 2. Medical & Sensory Standards

Selection Process – IAF Musician Rally 2026

The recruitment rally involves multiple rigorous stages:

  1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT-I & PFT-II): Includes a 1.6 Km run within stipulated time limits, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats (standards differ slightly for male and female candidates).
  2. English Written Test: An objective-type test to check basic English proficiency (generally 10th standard level).
  3. Music Proficiency Test (MPT): Practical test of the candidate’s ability to play instruments, read sheet music, and perform. This is the core selection criteria.
  4. Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical check-up by Air Force Medical Team.
