Selection Process – IAF Musician Rally 2026
The recruitment rally involves multiple rigorous stages:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT-I & PFT-II): Includes a 1.6 Km run within stipulated time limits, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats (standards differ slightly for male and female candidates).
- English Written Test: An objective-type test to check basic English proficiency (generally 10th standard level).
- Music Proficiency Test (MPT): Practical test of the candidate’s ability to play instruments, read sheet music, and perform. This is the core selection criteria.
