Salary and Training Period – Assistant Manager Scale
- Training Period: Initially, candidates will undergo 6 months of training. During this period, they will receive a Basic Pay of ₹ 50,000/- per month plus DA.
- After Training (Assistant Manager): Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be placed in the Assistant Manager cadre with a highly lucrative Pay Scale of ₹ 60,000 – ₹ 1,80,000/-.
- Allowances: In addition to the basic pay, candidates will receive Dearness Allowance, HRA, Medical facilities, and other PSU perks.
Selection Process – NMDC ET 2026
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The first stage is an online written exam covering domain knowledge and general aptitude. (70% Weightage)
- Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a GD to assess communication and leadership skills. (15% Weightage)
- Personal Interview: The final academic and psychological assessment. (15% Weightage)
- Document Verification & Medical Exam: Final verification of 60% marks criteria, age, and physical fitness.

Yes, final year students are eligible to apply. However, they must pass their degree and produce the final mark sheet before the Group Discussion (GD) and Interview stage.
