Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate Exam from any recognized board in India.
- Skill Requirement: Proficiency in Stenography is mandatory. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Skill Test in Data Entry/Transcription.
- Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026):
- Grade D: 18 – 27 Years.
- Grade C: 18 – 30 Years.
- Age Relaxation: As per SSC rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective-type exam consisting of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.
- Skill Test in Stenography: Candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for Grade C and 80 w.p.m. for Grade D.
- Document Verification: Scrutiny of Class 12 certificates and identity proofs.
- Medical Examination: Final medical fitness clearance.

How to Apply for the SSC Stenographer Online Form 2026?
- OTR Registration: Visit ssc.gov.in. If you are a new user, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).
- Login: Use your Registration Number and Password to log in to the dashboard.
