Qualification – Medical Officer (General)
- Medical Degree: Must hold an MBBS Degree from a recognized medical institution/university. Must be registered with the Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of India (MCI/NMC).
- Language Requirement: Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language recognized by the Punjab Government.

Salary and Pay Scale
Selected Medical Officers will be placed in the Punjab Government Pay Matrix Level-09.
