CTET September 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the public notice for the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) scheduled for September 2026. This national-level examination is mandatory for candidates aspiring to teach in Central Government schools (like KVS, NVS) and other participating institutions.
The online application window opens on May 11, 2026, and will remain active until June 10, 2026. The examination is slated to be held in 132 cities across India in 27 languages.

Application Fee
The fee structure depends on the number of papers a candidate chooses to attempt.

Exam Pattern
The CTET consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The duration for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

- Registration: Enter basic details to generate a Registration Number/Application Number.
- Fill Form: Complete the application with academic details and choice of exam cities.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your Photograph and Signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Fee Payment: Pay the examination fee online.
- Confirmation: Download and print the Confirmation Page for your records.
