FAQs- Haryana High Court Clerk Recruitment 2026

Q1. Are candidates from other states like Punjab, Delhi, or Rajasthan eligible to apply?

Ans: Yes. Candidates from all states can apply under the General (Unreserved) category tier, provided they satisfy all essential qualifications (including having studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matriculation level). They will be charged the standard male fee of ₹1,200 or female fee of ₹875.

Q2. How is the final selection merit list prepared for the 1,265 Clerk posts?

Ans: The final appointment list is prepared solely based on marks secured in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) written examination. The subsequent Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Typing round are strictly qualifying in nature, and their marks are not added to the final merit score.

Q3. Is a candidate with a graduation degree who didn’t study Hindi in Class 10th eligible?

Ans: No. It is an absolute mandatory condition to have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. However, if you haven’t studied it in Class 10th but passed Class 12th, B.A., or M.A. with Hindi as a subject, you are fully eligible.
