Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 16 Years. (There is generally no upper age limit for CITS admission).
Educational Qualification
- Technical Qualification: NTC (ITI) / NAC (Apprenticeship) / SCVT Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Higher Qualification: Diploma or Degree from a recognized Board of Technical Education or University.
- Note: Candidates appearing in the final year of their technical qualification may also apply tentatively.
Selection Process
- CBT Written Exam (AICET): A 100-question objective test focusing on Trade Technology (75%) and Logical/Mathematical Aptitude (25%).
- Online Counselling: Choice filling of National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) and ITOTs based on rank.
- Document Verification (DV): Verification of original technical certificates at the nearest NSTI.
- Final Admission: Payment of admission fees and reporting to the allotted institute.
