The Haryana D.El.Ed Admission 2026-28 notification has been officially released by the Haryana School Education Department. This admission process, managed by SCERT Haryana, is the gateway for candidates aspiring to become primary teachers through the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), commonly known as the JBT (Junior Basic Training) course.

Online applications will be accepted from May 04, 2026, until May 11, 2026. Selection is strictly based on 10+2 Merit, and there is no entrance examination for this session.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following academic requirements to be eligible for the merit list.

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks:
    • General: 50% aggregate marks.
    • SC / BC / PH: 47.5% aggregate marks.
  • Mandatory Subjects:
    • English: Must have passed English at the 10+2 level.
    • Hindi/Sanskrit: Must have passed Hindi or Sanskrit at the 10th (Matric) level.
  • For Urdu D.El.Ed: Candidates must have passed Urdu at the 10th class level.

Selection & Counseling Process

  1. Online Registration: Candidates fill out their preferences and personal details.
  2. Choice Filling: Applicants must select at least 5 colleges in order of preference.
  3. Merit List Generation: SCERT releases stream-wise (Arts, Science, Commerce, Vocational) merit lists.
  4. Allotment Letter: Shortlisted candidates download the provisional allotment letter.
  5. Reporting: Candidates report to the allotted institute with original documents to confirm admission and pay the fees.
