Salary Structure
Selected Probationary Officers undergo a mandatory 2-year probation tracking matrix and receive a premium remuneration package formulated under the 12th Bipartite Wage Settlement.
- Pay Scale & Initial Basic Pay: The basic starting pay is ₹56,480/- per month (which includes 4 advance increments over the base structure).
- Gross Salary Perks: Supplemented by Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or Leased Accommodation, Special Allowance, and City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), the initial gross monthly earnings reach approximately ₹93,000 to ₹95,000/-.
- Net In-Hand Salary: After standard PF and NPS tax deductions, a fresh SBI PO receives a take-home pay of approximately ₹80,000 to ₹82,000/- per month depending on the city tier of posting.
Selection Process
- Phase-I (Preliminary Exam): An online speed-based screening test comprising 100 questions (100 Marks) across English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
- Phase-II (Main Examination): An exhaustive test combining objective data analysis modules (200 Marks) and a descriptive English writing check (50 Marks).
- Phase-III (Psychometric & Interview): Shortlisted candidates face an institutional evaluation comprising a Psychometric test, Group Exercises (20 Marks), and a Personal Interview (30 Marks).
